Workshop: Gábor Vozári: Storytelling – a powerful way to communicate your message
This workshop will provide you tricks and hints on how storytelling can support you to communicate your message in a clear, convincing manner. The primary focus will be on using storytelling in business situations like project workshops, client presentations, or company meetings.
Among others, we will deal with questions like
-
What do you need to consider if you use storytelling in a professional context where people have neither the time nor patience to absorb plenty of details?
-
How do you ensure that people can relate your story to their own situations?
-
How should you set up your story in order to catch attention, convince, or spark action?
I am happy to see you on Sunday morning!
Gábor Vozári profile
Born and raised in Hungary, I have spent over the last decade living and working in Western Europe. The current workshop is largely based on experiences I have gained during this time.
In my profession as a management consultant and trainer I have worked with folks from five continents. The topics, the situations, and my counterparts have been diverse, but there has been one thing in common: people liked good stories – both in private and in business contexts.
Therefore I have often been inspired to find a suitable one and to tell it in a way that supports my message. For choosing and sharing my stories it has been crucial to get to know my counterparts – which occurred through listening to their stories…
As active Toastmaster, in November 2011 I reached the finals of the Table Topic Contest, and the semifinals of the Humorous Speech Contest in Basel (District 59, Continental Europe). Currently I am a member of the Zuriberg Toastmasters Club in Zürich.
